I couldn't be more pleased with how the last couple of weeks has gone - from the last 9 runners, we've sent out 6 winners..... Joanne One continued a great 4 days, by winning in some style at Exeter last Wednesday, she could be a very smart mare, and having won her novice hurdle with a penalty, we can now start dreaming. I think we'll now aim her for a listed novice at Haydock on 21st December. I was chuffed that Tea Caddy followed up her decent 2nd the previous week to get her head in front at Fakenham on Tuesday. Richard Mathews bred her, and has been in hospital recently, and so that should give him a timely boost. Present View kept the ball rolling yesterday by adding his name to the recent winners when comfortably winning at Market Rasen. He has always shown a lot of promise at home, but it has taken us a bit of time to teach him to settle, and to unlock his potential, but I hope that he can progress onwards from here.
Monbeg Theatre made his racecourse debut in a bumper at Ludlow last week, and finished a very pleasing 3rd. We was just beaten by a turn of foot from the home bend, but the first four pulled miles clear of the 5th horse, and he looks a potentially smart horse for the future. Comedinewithme ran a cracking race on her debut over hurdles at Lingfield on Tuesday to be 2nd. She jumped really well, and being Sandys Double's sister, she will appreciate a step up in trip too. There are still four 1/8th shares left available for free lease.....
