We ran Miss Milborne at Newbury today in the first race of the Hennessey meeting. It was her debut over hurdles in what looked a highly competitive mares novice hurdle, and she ran a corker to finish 2nd. Unfortunately, it was a pretty slowly run race, and we know she has stamina in abundance, so the race didn't play to her strengths but it was a very impressive first run over hurdles. She will learn a lot from the experience, and we'll find her a little opening next time, before aiming her at the Mares Novice Hurdle final back at Newbury in the spring.
