I cannot believe that there is much more rain up there - the last few weeks have really been appalling, and it doesn't look like its going to stop..... We only have a couple that really seem to enjoy it, and Miss Milborne ran another good race at Kempton on Thursday. Unfortunately she made a shuddering mistake at the third last, which cost her any chance of winning, but she did really well to get back going again in heavy ground under top weight to finish 4th. Jamesson ran a nice race on Boxing Day to finish 3rd after a long time off the track with a broken back. He will undoubtedly come on for the run, and I am looking forward to having him out again in a few weeks time when hopefully we might not have such bottomless ground. We didn't have much luck with either Buxom or Magic Vixen this week. Unfortunately it transpired that Buxom came into season and had her mind on other things, but I was slightly mystified by Magic Vixen's run. She scoped clean, but just didn't fancy it at Fontwell on Boxing Day - one has to assume she didn't like the ground, and is worth another try on some better going - if we are ever going to get some!?
