Our run of seconditis ended today when Horseshoe Reef romped away with a handicap chase at Uttoxeter this afternoon. He jumped beautifully and Sam T-D gave him a peach of a ride - chuffed to bits for the horse as much as I am for everyone associated with him, as he deserved that after 3 consecutive seconds.

Ixora ran a cracker as well to be 3rd in the extremely competitive 0-135 handicap hurdle. She went up 5 pounds for finishing 2nd at Ffos Las 2 weeks ago, and was beaten 4 lengths this afternoon. She is proving a very consistent mare, but just needs a bit of help from the handicapper. She stayed the 2m4 well, and in time (when she strengthens and matures) she will stay further as well.

So - again a cracking day, with our horses continuing to be in blistering form. Lets now hope the weather clears up for our Owners Open Day on Sunday.....!
