Unfortunately the string of seconds continues....  Present View ran at Towcester today, and was upsides at the last when making a bad blunder and throwing away any chance of victory.  I am not sure he appreciates this soft ground, and so we'll probably wait for the spring and some better ground, and step him up in trip.  He is a decent horse, and after all he is only 4 years old - he'll strengthen and mature further and be a smart chaser next season.

Sir Gale made his racecourse debut yesterday, and ran a lovely race to be 3rd in the bumper.  He was outpaced going down the back, but stayed on in taking fashion up the home straight.  Having the same sire as Miss Milborne, he looks to be in the similar mold to her - tough and tenacious.....

Soutine ran well enough yesterday in a novice hurdle, and qualifies for a mark now - he's no world beater but we might be able to have a bit of fun with him off the right mark, andTom Sang needs to drop 10lbs before he will be competitive, but he also needs a step up in trip
