El Diego ran another good race today to be second again.  He is so consistent, and must be the handicappers dream - if he dropped a few pounds then surely one of these will fall his way.  We tried to eak out a bit of improvement by using a tongue tie, which may have worked a bit, but a mistake 4 out cost him any chance of winning.

We'll work a few on the grass tomorrow, which is awesome.  The ground is perfect, and it rides like a cushion - if only all the racecourses were as good....!  We should have a few runners over the weekend as we have entered Graduation Night at Ascot  (he deserves to step up in class after a couple of wins around Wincanton and Chepstow)  and American Ladie will run in another valuable mares handicap.  Tea Caddy and Miss Milborne are both entered up in mares novice hurdles, and I am looking forward to seeing them out again after excellent runs last time.
