Sunday 24th April 2022 - the end of a record breaking season.

As the season draws to a close, four 2nds from our last six runners meant we just missed out on the half century of jumps winners this season, but with one flat winner to add to the 49 jumps winners, we can collectively say we reached the 50 winner mark this season.  We finished 19th in the trainer’s table on numbers of winners, and there were just three trainers above us who achieved a better strike rate of winners to individual runners, as 46% of all the horses we ran this season have won. 

Some stats from the season:

1. A total of 49 jumps winners, and 1 flat winner;
2. A total of £480k in prizemoney;
3. A 19% winning strike rate;
4. 37% finished in the first two;
5. An incredible 65% finished placed! 
6. Another Cheltenham winner was a highlight, whilst a winner at every UK jumps track was a personal milestone. 

I have a cracking team of staff, horses and amazingly loyal and brilliant owners – I am very lucky.  It’s been a massive team effort; we can all be proud of.  

Onwards and upwards, exciting times ahead.
