American Ladie kept the ball rolling for Folly House yesterday, when she bolted up at Ludlow in a mares novice hurdle. Ryan Mahon gave her a lovely ride, and she won as she liked. She deserved to win after being 2nd in her last two starts for us, and I am sure this will give her a confidence boost. We'll now head to Wincanton with her for a valuable mares only handicap at the start of November. I was delighted for Karen and John Gunn, as this is the first horse they have owned outright.
Sandylini made his racecourse debut today at Worcester - he ran a nice race, but was pretty 'green' when he came off the bridle. It was a good educational run, he will have learnt a lot from it, and will come on a ton. I'd say that we will probably run him over hurdles next time out.
I hope you have all had a chance to watch the 'trainer profile' that At the Races have done on us. I have downloaded it onto the 'Home' page, as well as in yesterdays news section.
