It was lovely to see Major Milborne back on the track again after a scare around Christmas time, when we feared his season may have been over. Thankfully those fears weren’t substantiated and he ran a cracker to be 2nd at Newbury on Greatwood day.
Having had our horses run so well throughout February, but nearly always finding one too good, I am hoping March starts one better…. Val de Law will be our first runner at Leicester on Friday – he is a lovely horse and after his smashing chasing debut at Exeter having had a year off the track, he deserves to get his head in front. Monbeg Theatre will run in the EBF Final at Sandown on Saturday, and then we should have a few out on Sunday and Monday prior to Souriyan running in the Fred Winter on Wednesday at the Cheltenham Festival.
Monbeg and Souriyan work well together and they both did a smashing bit of fast work this morning….. We’re dreaming now about the next week… let the winners roll.
