Present View was 6th today in the Grade 2 novice hurdle at Cheltenham today. He took a blow around the final bend when still with every chance, but he was a little bit squeezed when looking for a gap on the rail into the straight. When his chance had gone, Brendan was easy on him and he came home with his ears pricked. He is a chaser and although disappointing not to be placed today, it was a prep run and I hope it has served its purpose to tee him up for what uised to be called the Racing Post Chase, and is now the Bet Bright Chase….
While at Uttoxeter Siobhans Beauty took a fall at the third last when in place 4th at the time. He jumped well to that point, and had travelled well until the turn for home. The front three had quickened clear and Will had just given him a squeeze and he just reached for the flight and knuckled over in a "soft" fall. Thankfully both he and Will appear ok afterwards.
