Mid October and the first Saturday meeting at Chepstow marks the beginning of the 'winter' jumps season.  Miss Milborne ran in the big handicap hurdle over 2m4 - we know she wants 3 miles and prefers going right handed, but thought it was a good starting point for the season ahead.  She ran a cracker to be beaten only 4 lengths and finished 4th, and in doing so finished in the money for the 8th time in as many starts for us.  She will now head for a class 2 mares hurdle at Wincanton before we run in a listed contest at Kempton.  Chasing beckons after that run.

I am chuffed to bits that the horses are running so well, and hopefully they can maintain it throughout the winter.....  Our next runner looks to be Zava River at Wincanton on Thursday - he is a nice sort, who has had a year off, and so may just need the run.  Ixora and Graduation Night will both go to Cheltenham at the weekend, and Present View is on target for his debut at Kempton on Sunday
