Having been patient through the winter I am pleased that we are being rewarded as the winners continue to flow.

Kassis won very nicely yesterday at Chepstow. She had run well the last day at Plumpton, and turned the form around with the runner up who beat her last time. She jumped well and the more galloping track suited her well. We’ll look to run her again this season providing the ground remains on the softer side, but she will make up into a smashing chaser next season.

I thought that Midnight Silver put up a mighty performance earlier in the week to defy a penalty to win her 2nd bumper this season. Well ridden by Michael Nolan, she showed great courage to fend off the challenge of a winning pointer to win by a short head.

Midnight Silver gets her nose in front for her 2nd bumper win.

Meanwhile, Dino Mite ran a blinder at Taunton under a penalty where she was beaten only a length into 3rd. She is a really tough individual and will surely win another novice before the season is out. Detroit Blues ran well to be 4th in a bumper and will improve over hurdles later on this spring. Whilst, Heronry picked up some valuable prize money and chasing experience when 3rd in a novice chase at Uttoxeter.
