Another Saturday winner - wow, and this time at Ascot.... Graduation Night defied a 12lbs rise in the handicap to score in the 3 mile novice handicap chase (the same race Knighton Combe won for us 2 years ago).  It was great for Martin Broughton and the rest of his syndicate, most of whom were there to cheer him home.  I am chuffed that he has finally proved himself to be a 'Saturday' horse, and its great for the yard as we progress up the training ranks.

Our luck failed to continue when American Ladie ran in the following race and finished 5th.  She was shuffled to the back of the field and forced widest of all, and so was caught flat footed when they quickened, and so did remarkably well to finish as close as she did.  Poor old Ryan's luck didn't get any better when he came off Tea Caddy today at Towcester.  He was unseated and brought the mare down on top of him - thankfully both seem to be none the worse for this unfortunate experience.

We are off to Ffos Las tomorrow with Ballyboker Boy who is having his first run for us having won a couple of Irish Points - he should go well in what looks a highly competitive maiden hurdle.  Knighton Combe has his first run back since winning the Summer National - he runs over hurdles as a prep run before the Welsh National, and should go well too.
