Major Milborne ran a fine race to be 3rd on his racecourse debut in a bumper at Fontwell 3 weeks ago, and so we thought he should go close this afternoon at Warwick, so it was naturally disappointing that he was only 4th. However, the funerial gallop set meant he was mad keen in behind, and was outpaced when the sprint for home came..... In hindsight, Harry maybe should have let him bowl on but at least he has come home safe and sound, and I look forward to seeing him back on the track before long. It is frustrating, but unfortunately that's racing!!!
