Monbeg Theatre finished 3rd at Ludlow on his debut last month, and improved on that when 2nd in a Warwick bumper on New Years Eve. It was another lovely performance, from him as he is still a big baby, and will be a smashing horse next season after a good summer holiday. Unfortunately Batu Ferringhi didn't run quite so well - he was knocked over on his chasing debut, and I believe his confidence has has been knocked. He has pulled a hamstring as well, and so after a bit of tlc we'll put him back over hurdles.
We haven't had many runners lately mainly due to the weather and abandonments, so we've decided to give the string their EHV vaccination boosters, and so we'll just go easy on them for a few days. I doubt we'll be missing much action!
