Rhythm Star won the bumper at Taunton yesterday on her racecourse debut. She travelled well, and picked up nicely when Brendan asked her, and went on to win in taking style. She is a big strong filly, who benefited from a handy weight allowance and it was a lovely performance from a filly who could be very nice. She works really well at home, but I was worried about the very heavy ground conditions. However, she handled it well, although Brendan reported that she didn't appreciate it, and will improve with some better ground. Having been hitting the cross bar this month with most of our runners, its lovely to hit the back of the net again....
