It has been great for our yard to have been on top of the hot trainers list for the last fortnight but unfortunately we couldn't increase our 67% strike rate in that period as Jawhary unseated when looking to have every chance of winning again at Towcester on Monday. The ground had turned soft which didn't help his jumping, and he stepped at the 3rd last flight and gave Brendan little chance, which was frustrating as it looked to be a very weak race, and I think Jawhary could have won it in a hack canter - but thats racing....!

We then went to Ffos Las to run All Nighter in the first juvenile race of the season, but poor chap almost came down at the first, and then got stuck in the rain softened ground. Tom was very easy on him, and I think he'll be a different horse on a tighter track with faster ground, and that should come through the summer.
