Another great day at Chepstow today as Graduation Night defied a 7lb penalty to win the 3 mile novice handicap chase.  He is due to go up 15lbs as of Saturday, so in effect he was 8lbs well in and won by 10 lengths, so the handicapper was about right.  I therefore hope the handicapper doesn't put us up anymore.....Providing he keeps us below 120, then we'll aim for a novice handicap at Ascot in 2 weeks.

El Diego attempted to make it an across the card double at Warwick, and was only just beaten in the 3m2 handicap chase.  He finished 3rd, but wasn't beaten far, and I am sure one of these races will certainly come his way over the winter months.  He seems to loose a few lengths at a vital point in every race, and I wonder if he may just struggle with his breathing, and so I may think about putting him in a tongue tie.
